How does the 30-day free trial work?

When you sign up, you instantly get access to our fully-loaded Garden plan for 30 days. We will alert you before your trial expires. You can then select a plan and pay by credit card to continue using the product. If you choose not to continue, your account will be suspended.

What is active member pricing?

No more seats! In Freshchat, you pay for the number of active members on your team. Fair and transparent pricing. An active member is someone who has logged in at least five times or sent 20 messages in a month.

How do active team members affect billing?

Freshchat automatically detects when team members become active. At the beginning of every month, you will be charged for the number of team members that were active as of the previous month. If a member who was inactive becomes active, you will be charged against that particular member at the end of that billing month.

How do inactive team members affect billing?

Freshchat automatically detects when team members become inactive. When a team member becomes inactive(and if that member was charged against at the beginning of the month), we will deposit credits equal to the cost of that member to your Freshchat account at the end of that billing month.

What if I don't want to pay by card?

We have an offline payment mode available. To avail that, your account must meet the following criteria

  1. Be a paid plan
  2. Must be billed annually
  3. Must have at least 15 team members

How do credits work?

Credits have no currency or exchange value, are non-transferable and non-refundable, and will expire following the termination of your paid services plan with Freshchat. Credits will be used against subsequently generated invoice(s).

* What is MUV and how is it tracked?

A monthly unique visitor is an individual user who accesses your site within 30-day window. The unique visitors is determined by a cookie that lasts for a period of 1 year or until users clear their browser cookies for websites.

For mobile apps, the equivalent is a monthly active user - an app user who opened your app at least once within the 30-day window. A unique app user is determined as the unique instance of the app installation until the user's app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.
