Freshworks takes on Salesforce on its own turf with a massive campaign - #Failsforce

Freshworks flew a blimp over the skies of San Francisco during Dreamforce 2018. There were a lot of other fun activities during the course of the week and interview from the blimp.

SAN BRUNO, California. September 25, 2018

Freshworks, the global leader in customer engagement software, is making its presence felt in San Francisco during Salesforce’s annual event Dreamforce 2018.

As a part of a campaign they are calling #Failsforce, Freshworks will be hosting a live press conference from a blimp above San Francisco with Freshworks customers who have switched from other CRMs. Freshworks has also lined up a lot of fun activities over the next few days for Dreamforce users, including yoga, dance, and pilates classes.

Based upon the conviction that employees are fed up of bloated, tough-to-use software, and that all they want is refreshingly simple-to-use customer engagement software, the campaign pulls no punches and takes aim at enterprise heavyweights.

Why is this necessary?

According to a recent study, “Riding the Next Wave of SaaS CRM,” commissioned by Freshworks, 69 percent of SMBs say they will replace their CRM solutions and 56 percent of them already making plans to replace within the two years. More than 25 percent are already looking for more efficient, user-friendly systems that aren’t as costly and don’t require as many IT resources as systems currently dominating the market.

“SMBs do not need the heavy and bloated software that is foisted upon them under the excuse of being enterprise-ready. As the numbers from the Forrester report clearly say, small firms have had enough and are looking for a ‘fresh’ solution. This is why we are in the skies of San Francisco this week, to show them that they have a great option available, just for them,” said Arvind Parthiban, Director of Marketing, Freshworks.

What: Refresh Your Body

When: Sept 24 - 27, 7am - 7pm

Where: The Refresh Lounge, 717 Market Street, San Francisco. Freshworks will be giving attendees coffee and snacks throughout the day as well as handing out juice and smoothie gift cards from local merchants. In addition, for registered attendees they will have the opportunity to win daily prizes. They will also get an automatic entry for a grand prize drawing of a trip for two to Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Arizona.

What: Refresh Your Mind

When: Sept 25 - 27

Where: Equinox Sports Club, 747 Market Street, San Francisco. Dreamforce attendees can also refresh their minds and souls, courtesy of Freshworks. Registered attendees will have free access to Yoga, Barre, Spin/Cycle, and fitness classes during the week.
