Freshworks rolls out a new learning platform
Under a new name, Freshworks University aims to empower customers through certification and skill-building, with better learning paths and personalized content
For years, Freshworks customers have turned to Freshworks Academy for upskilling and making better use of CX and EX tools. But they wanted more—more structure, more variety, and more recognition for the time spent learning.
The newly revamped Freshworks University aims to fulfill customers’ needs for a better learning platform, with clearer learning paths, stronger certification value, and content tailored to real-world workflows.
“When customers have the right knowledge, they can solve challenges faster, maximize product value, and deliver exceptional experiences,” says Kevin Lau, vice president of customer engagement at Freshworks.
Freshworks University features modular, interactive content for different roles within customer organizations, including support agents, IT admins, and product owners. They can now find targeted learning paths and updated modules across Freshdesk, Freshservice, and Freddy AI, that align with their day-to-day responsibilities. The curriculum spans foundational product overviews, advanced use cases, and deep dives into automation, AI, and analytics capabilities.

“We have courses for every skill level with hands-on learning that fits real-world scenarios,” says Lau. Each course is designed to help users immediately apply what they learn and work toward certifications that validate their expertise.
Beyond skill-building, the platform represents a larger strategic goal: creating a confident, self-reliant user base. “By enrolling, users can drive meaningful results for their teams and organizations,” says Lau.
By moving to immersive, on-demand learning experiences that scale with user needs, Freshworks aims to empower its customers throughout their journey. With the launch, Freshworks is extending an invitation to its community to engage more deeply with its products and unlock new growth opportunities.
Enrollment is now open on Freshworks University, with additional tracks and certifications planned in the coming months.
