Click the “Visit Site to Install” button. It will take you to our Migration Wizard. Sign up to begin Freshdesk backup. Step 1. Select Freshdesk from the list of platforms. Enter the necessary credentials and click “Continue.” Step 2. Next, select CSV as the target for the data. Then, simply press “Continue.” Step 3. Select what data you want to backup. After selecting tickets and articles (if you’ve chosen to back up the knowledge base), a “Map fields” button will appear. Click it to configure how you want ticket fields/article statuses to be exported. Make sure to click “Save mapping” when you’re done. Step 4. Begin the Free Demo Migration. This process allows you to check how the Migration Wizard exports your data. It usually takes two to five minutes. Step 5. Once the Demo is complete, you need to review the files that the WIzard has generated. To do this, click the “Download dumps” button next to Contacts, Tickers, and Articles (if you’re exporting the knowledge base). Check whether the files are valid and all records are in place. Step 7. If you’re satisfied, proceed to checkout and begin the full Freshdesk backup. Should you have any questions about the import? Leave them in the chat, and we’ll get back to you right away.
