Freshservice integration with the JumpCloud for Freshservice app enables IT teams to automate synchronization of users from JumpCloud to Freshservice to match organizational hierarchies, whenever new user accounts are created, and existing user accounts are updated or deactivated.

- Enables synchronization of relevant employee attributes, such as department, manager, roles, and permissions to enhance identity management.
- Enables configuration of the required synchronization settings and field mapping.
Note: The JumpCloud for Freshservice app is available only for Pro and Enterprise accounts on Freshservice.

Here is a quick step-by-step flow on how to successfully integrate the JumpCloud for Freshservice app.
1. Start installation:
- Log in to your Freshservice account and go to Marketplace Apps.
- Search and select the JumpCloud for Freshservice app using the Search apps option
- Click Install to open the app configuration page.
2. Validate Freshservice and JumpCloud credentials:
- In the Authentication section, validate your Freshservice and JumpCloud credentials in the respective tabs.
- On the Connect Freshservice tab, the Domain URL and API key fields are auto-populated.
Note: Ensure that your Freshservice API key is enabled before initiating the installation.
- On the Connect JumpCloud tab, enter your JumpCloud API key.
3. Configure sync settings:
- In the Sync settings section, configure the required synchronization settings, such as users and groups, sync actions, and sync frequency.
4. Configure field mapping:
- In the Field mapping section, map Freshservice fields to the corresponding JumpCloud fields.
5. Complete installation:
- After all the details are validated and configured, click Install to complete the installation.
