Freshservice integration with Tenable Connector app enables IT and security teams to associate and sync the vulnerabilities data from Tenable to Freshservice (in real-time).
The Freshservice-Tenable Connector integration:
Enables creation of incidents/tickets in Freshservice associated with the vulnerabilities detected in Tenable.
Creates tickets in Freshservice from vulnerabilities data in Tenable that match the configured filters, such as severity thresholds and asset groups.
Provides default mapping for Tenable vulnerability attributes to Freshservice ticket fields.
Checks for export schedules and creates corresponding tickets in Freshservice when an export schedule is available.
Note: The Tenable Connector app is available only for Pro and Enterprise accounts on Freshservice.

Here is a quick step-by-step flow on how to successfully integrate and use the Tenable Connector app.
1. Start installation:
Login to your Freshservice account and go to Marketplace Apps.
Search and select the Tenable Connector app using the Search apps option
Click Install to open the app configuration page.
2. Validate Freshservice credentials:
The first tab on the Configuration page is for validating Freshservice credentials.
The Domain URL and API key fields are auto-populated. Ensure that your Freshservice API Key is enabled before initiating the installation.
3. Configure Tenable settings:
After the Freshservice connection is validated, the next step is to configure Tenable Connector settings.
Enter your Access key and Secret key details to connect your Tenable account.
4. Activate Alerts:
After Tenable connection is successful, the next step is to activate alerts.
Enable Alerts and add recipient email IDs to receive email notifications on any errors that are detected within the configured recipes.
5. Complete installation:
After all the details are validated, click Install to complete the installation.
