Part 1: Administrative Tasks: These are one-time tasks that the ADMINISTRATOR of your Freshsales account needs to perform There are 2 steps involved: 1. Setting up a CUSTOM FIELD for Leads and/or Contacts in Freshsales. 2. Activating the INTEGRATION in Paperflite. STEP 1: SETTING UP IN FRESHSALES 1. Log in to your Freshsales account. 2. Head over to Admin Settings. 3. Scroll down to CRM CUSTOMIZATIONS. 4. Click on Lead fields (and/or Contact fields). 5. Select Add Field. 6a. For Leads - Enter the Field label: Paperflite URL - Field type: Text field - Group or sub-group: <as per choice> - Make this field read-only: ✓ - Save 6b. Similarly, for Contacts - Enter the Field label: Paperflite URL - Field type: Text field - Make this field read-only: ✓ - Save 7. Go back to Admin Settings. 8. Scroll down to Integrations. 9. Click on Freshsales for web. 10. Click Get Started under Java. 11. Under Library installation, copy the authentication token. STEP 2: SETTING UP IN PAPERFLITE 1. Log in to your Paperflite account at https://web.paperflite.com 2. Head over to Settings → Integrations. 3. Activate Freshsales. 4. Log in to your Freshsales account → Click Authenticate. 5. Flip the toggle(s) for Lead and/or Contact (depending on who you would like to sync). 6. Set the Field to Paperflite URL. 7. Scroll down to Analytics. 8. Paste in the token you copied. (Step 1.11) 9. Set the Events you want to record. Save changes. PART 2 SENDING EMAILS IN FRESHSALES 1. Create a Filter of the Leads you want to email. In this instance, we have filtered leads with score greater than 90. 2. Save this Filter under a specific name. We have saved this filter as ‘Leads greater than 90.’ 3. You can perform the corresponding actions for creating a filter of the Contacts you want to email. In this instance, we have filtered contacts with score greater than 90. Don’t forget to save the filter that you have just shortlisted. 4. Head over to Paperflite. Set the Filter you want to sync for. Checkpoint: After synchronizing in Paperflite, you would be able to see the URL in the Paperflite field in Lead/Contact details. 5. Select the leads/contacts you want to email from the Filter previously created. 6. Type out the email, as you would normally. 7. Select the text you want to link to the Paperflite collection. 8. Head back to Paperflite to identify the content that you’d like to share. 9. When you’re in Paperflite, go to ‘My Collections.’ Select the Collection that you wish to showcase to your leads. 10. Once you have selected the collection, click on the URL. Then, copy the text after https://app.paperflite.com. In this instance, we have copied /collections/5b16780946e0fb0001d250d7 11. Head back to FRESHSALES, open a new mail and select the contacts to whom you want to send an email. 12. Enter your email text. 13. Now, refer page #10 & 11 for the name of the custom field you have created in Freshsales. In the Placeholder field, search for the Custom Field that you have created and click on it. In this case, we have created ‘Paperflite URL.’ So, we get a link: {{lead.cf_Paperflite_URL}}. Then paste the portion of the link from Paperflite collections that you copied in the previous page. So, our link is: {{lead.cf_Paperflite_URL}}/collections/5b16780946e0fb0001d250d7 14. Your leads will now be able to view the collections.
