Overview
The Lansweeper Sync App for Freshservice enables automated synchronization of assets from Lansweeper into Freshservice. The app intelligently detects and adds new Lansweeper assets to Freshservice, while also updating properties of existing assets to maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in your service desk.
A background scheduler is initialized automatically during app installation, which runs daily at the time of installation to fetch and sync asset data between the two systems without manual intervention.
Additionally, the app includes a reporting view where you can monitor the sync status, last update time, and results of the most recent asset synchronization—making it easy to track changes and verify successful updates.

All data transfers are secured using HTTPS and handled in accordance with GDPR principles. Data is only transferred for the purpose of asset synchronization and is stored temporarily (max 7 days) or deleted immediately after processing.
