CEO and Founder
Girish Mathrubootham is the CEO and founder of Freshworks. In 10 years, with backing from leading investors including Accel, Sequoia, Tiger Global Management, and CapitalG, Girish has taken Freshworks from an idea to a leading software company empowering businesses to delight their customers and employees. Under his leadership, Freshworks has expanded its operations to 13 global locations to serve over 50,000 customers throughout the world. He is also a prominent venture capital investor and adviser to over 60 companies, and founding member of SaaSBOOMi, Asia’s largest community of founders and product builders.
Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Shan Krishnasamy is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Freshworks. He co-founded Freshworks (then Freshdesk) in October 2010 with Girish Mathrubootham.
Shan is responsible for the technology roadmap of the company. He was previously a Technical Architect at Zoho Corporation. Shan completed his BE from TGPIT, Vellore.
Chief Marketing Officer
Stacey Epstein is the Chief Marketing Officer at Freshworks, and an acclaimed enterprise software leader having helped build, grow, and exit iconic SaaS brands. She started and led the marketing functions through 6 years of triple digit growth at both SuccessFactors and ServiceMax. She went on to serve as CEO of Zinc, a real-time communication app for field service workers, which was acquired by ServiceMax in 2019, returning her to the CMO post there. Stacey currently serves on the board of Litmus and CircleCi, and she holds a B.A. in English from Emory University, where she was a four-time all-conference soccer player.
Chief Financial Officer
Tyler Sloat is Chief Financial Officer at Freshworks, where he oversees accounting, finance, and IT. Tyler is a seasoned cloud finance leader and board member and has played a pivotal role in several successful IPOs and acquisitions. Previously, Tyler was CFO at Zuora, where he led the company from start-up through IPO in 2018. Before Zuora, Tyler held executive finance roles at a series of technology leaders, including NetApp Inc. and Siebel Systems, Inc., has been a Board member for several companies including Oanda and Compass and currently is an advisor and direct investor to a variety of private companies. He holds an MBA from Stanford and is a CPA in the State of California.
Chief Revenue Officer
José Morales serves as our Chief Revenue Officer since October 2020. He leads the company’s global GTM strategy, including sales and partnerships organizations. Before Freshworks, Jose helped scale Atlassian’s annual revenues from under $100M to $1.8B. As head of global field operations, he led sales, partner programs, services, and other key go-to-market functions, building and managing global teams across the U.S., the Netherlands, France, Germany, Japan and the Philippines. During his time at Atlassian, he also ran Corporate Development. Jose is on the boards of Jumpcloud and Escuela Bilingue International, a board advisor to DataStax, and is an avid skier and windsurfer. He holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Chief Product Officer
Prakash Ramamurthy is Chief Product Officer at Freshworks. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Product Development and GM, Systems Management and Security Products for Oracle Cloud at Oracle Corporation, a database software and technology company, where he oversaw product development, product management and strategy. For the last two years, he has served as Operating Partner of Trinity Ventures, a venture capital firm, where he focuses on investments in early stage technology companies. Prakash holds a B.E. in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Guindy and a M.S. in Computer Engineering from Boston University.
Chief HR Officer
Suman Gopalan is the Chief HR Officer at Freshworks, where she guides the company’s global people strategy to engage, develop and care for its worldwide employees. Suman and her teams oversee culture, talent and organizational development, employee relations and experience, benefits, compensation, and diversity and inclusion. Previously, Suman led the global and regional HR teams for The Nielsen Company, Dell Technologies and Whirlpool. She holds an MBA in Human Resources from XLRI Jamshedpur, is an active mentor for young women leaders, and the co-founder of the ACT Women initiative.
Vice President and Deputy General Counsel
Pam Sergeeff is the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Freshworks, where she leads the company’s worldwide legal organization, responsible for corporate legal strategy, governance, data protection, privacy and compliance. Pam brings a wealth of experience to Freshworks and was most recently the EVP, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer at TiVo. Before that, she was EVP and General Counsel at Rovi Corporation (which acquired TiVo in 2016) and previously held other senior legal roles at Macrovision and Veritas Software. Pam holds a B.A. in Economics from UCLA and a J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law.
Chief Customer Officer
Pradeep Rathinam (Paddy) is the Chief Customer Officer (CCO) at Freshworks. He leads a global team of customer experience employees that span customer success, professional services, and customer service. He founded AnsweriQ, an AI-based customer service automation company, which was acquired by Freshworks in 2020. Previously, he was the CEO of Aditi Technologies and spent over a decade at Microsoft as general manager of the Independent Software Vendors (ISV) business. Pradeep holds a business management degree from Delhi University.
Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer
Randi Bryant is the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer of Freshworks, where she develops and leads the strategy to create an environment where all employees, customers and constituents feel as if they belong. During her Ph.D. studies at the University of Virginia, Randi was recruited by a technology company in Northern Virginia, CAIS internet, to help guide it from its early stages through its IPO. Randi later founded Bryant Consulting Group, LLC where she served as President for almost twenty years. During that period she contracted with Fortune 500 companies and several Federal agencies to provide DEI services both domestically and internationally. She is the author of two books, including the acclaimed DEI book Neversays. Randi holds a B.A. in English from Tuskegee University and a M.A. in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus on multiculturalism, from the College of William & Mary.
