A few years ago, a group of passionate women at Freshworks joined hands to bridge gender disparity at work. What started as a one-off networking event has since blossomed into a successful women’s employee resource group with a mission to inspire, empower, educate, and nurture a diverse group of women and their allies within the organization. The Freshworks Women 360 leadership team now hosts a gamut of networking and social events, sponsors mentorship and professional development programs, engages in fostering a supportive community of women through inspiration and advocacy, and strives to highlight the visibility of women’s successes at Freshworks. And this is only the beginning, they say!
At Freshworks, we decided to challenge ourselves to ensure progressive growth and constantly encourage creating a more balanced and holistic work environment. We are very proud of the women of Freshworks, who make their presence felt in every function, be it sales, marketing, finance, product development, HR, or customer service. We are opening our doors wider and welcoming more women to be a part of Freshworks and contribute to our growth and scale in a significant way. Since our 2020 public commitment, we've increased the number of women in our global organization to 34.8%. Now, we have our sights set on reaching 40% by the end of 2023.
