As the competition in the startup ecosystem gets more and more intense, onboarding and retaining employees is turning out to be an important factor. And to motivate your contributing employees, you need to reward them. That is where Employee Stock Options (ESOP) comes into play. Apart from being an employee retention tool, there are various other benefits that ESOPs hold.

Freshworks for Startups in collaboration with MyStartupEquity is running a panel discussion on "Understanding ESOPs: Why it's Important for Startups". Join us on July 24, 2020 (Friday) at 5:30 PM to hear Ruchi Deepak, Co-founder at Acko Insurance and Ritesh Banglani, Partner at Stellaris Venture Partners share their philosophies of compensation, and some of the key pointers startup founders should keep in mind before rolling out ESOPs. Jayadevan PK, Evangelist at Freshworks for Startups will be leading the conversation.

What will we cover: How ESOPs work; the various benefits of ESOPs for startups; tips on how to build an effective ESOP plan; planning ESOPs at every stage of growth.
