Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a mechanical engineer to oversee the design, development, and manufacture of our products. You will be required to design products, experiment and record findings. You will also be required to correct any malfunctions and test the final product. You are responsible for the quality of the products we manufacture to address user requirements.


Field of Engineering

The field of engineering is concerned with the application of management, design, and technical skills for the design and integration of systems, the execution of new product designs, the improvement of manufacturing processes, and the management and direction of physical and/or technical functions of a firm or organization.


Responsibilities

  • See to it that products are developed from end to end (design, development, test, manufacturing, and implementation)
  • Create outline designs for products and test theoretical designs for their feasibility.
  • Experiment on products and record findings to be studied.
  • Design products that address a need or requirement.
  • Provide innovative solutions to address emerging problems.
  • Ensure the final product is in perfect working condition with regards to performance, reliability, and safety before release.
  • Make sure the required changes are made to the design to fix malfunctions.
  • Create a budget plan and work around the finances.
  • Explore and present the scope of the project.
  • Document production reports and review.
  • Keep up to date with market trends and best practices.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Prior experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management, computational fluid dynamics, finite element analysis.
  • Hands on experience with computer-aided engineering and computer-aided manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D engineering design tools.
  • Good with mathematical computing and analysis tools, and engineering analysis tools.
  • Creative and analytical thinking with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skill.
