When you sign up, you instantly get access to our fully-loaded Garden plan for 21 days. We will alert you before your trial expires. You can then select a plan and pay by credit card to continue using the product. If you choose not to continue, your account will be suspended.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?

Yes, you can choose to upgrade your subscription instantly. If you wish to downgrade or cancel your subscription, you can do so at the end of your term. Click on ‘Billing’ in your Freshchat account to modify your subscription details.

What are contacts and how does pricing work for it?

Contacts are leads and users you chat with. With Freshchat, get unlimited contacts on any plan — save and access their data without pay anything extra

How safe is my data?

We take security seriously and you get to choose your data center from the get-go. Our servers are hosted in world-class data centers that are protected by biometric locks and 24-hour surveillance. We ensure that our application is always up to date with the latest security patches.

Do you have any cancellation fees?

No. Freshchat is a pay-as-you-go service. We do not have any cancellation fees. You can cancel whenever you want but your cancellation will come into effect only after the end of your term.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We do not accept PayPal. We will not be able to accept purchase orders over the phone. All of our offline payments follow USD pricing.

What is MUV and how does it work?

MUV stands for Monthly Unique Visitor. A monthly unique visitor is an individual user who accesses your site within a 30-day window. For mobile apps, the equivalent is a monthly active user - an app user who opened your app at least once within the 30-day window.

Is WhatsApp Business add-on charged per user?

No, the WhatsApp for Business integration is a flat monthly fee per WhatsApp number, regardless of the number of agents. You can find more details about this here.

What does Omnichannel include?

Each agent on Omnichannel has access to all features from Freshchat, Freshcaller, and Freshdesk, to support customers across channels from one place, with all the context and customer information. Omnichannel plans will include the Estate and Forest plans of Freshdesk, Freshchat, and Freshcaller respectively, with over 40% discount.

What is Freddy?

Freddy is a premium AI offering from Freshworks. It includes AI bots for stellar self-service and agent-assist AI features that automate mundane tasks for agents to improve their productivity. To know more about Freddy, click here.

What is a Freddy session?

On email, every email response is counted as 1 Freddy session

On voice, every voice bot response is counted as 1 Freddy session

On chat, all end-users to bot interactions in a day are counted as 1 Freddy session and lasts for a maximum of 24 hours. 

Only self-service AI features consume Freddy sessions while agent-assist AI features don’t consume Freddy sessions.

How can I buy additional Freddy sessions? What's the validity of a pack?

You can purchase an unlimited number of Freddy sessions as packs. You can purchase extra packs at $100 for 1000 sessions. The validity of a pack aligns with your payment cycle. For example: If you choose to pay quarterly, your Freddy sessions will also expire quarterly
