Prasad Ramakrishnan

Prasad Ramakrishnan is the Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer of Freshworks. He is responsible for the company's IT and Security vision and strategy, and its execution. With over three decades of experience in the Information Technology and Security space, Prasad drives the implementation of the corporate IT infrastructure, security, and GRC Infrastructure to scale Freshworks. This covers internal business systems, business intelligence, analytics, global IT infrastructure, application and network security, data security, business continuity, and disaster recovery. Prasad holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a diploma in Business Administration (Marketing) from Madras University, a Master’s in Computer Applications from Anna University, and an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix. Prior to joining Freshworks, Prasad was the CIO of Veeva. Before that, he was the VP of IT at HotChalk and headed IT teams at Bodhtree, Buxton, Infoblox, FormFactor, Brocade, Keane (NTTData), and Intraware. He began his career at Wipro.
